Google-owned YouTube says a widespread issue with some of its services has been resolved, nearly two hours after several people took to social media to complain about broadcasting issues.

The Google-owned video hosting website initially tweeted to say it was aware of issues around accessing YouTube and its YouTube TV and Music subscription services.

If you'd been trying to access YouTube recently but couldn't, don't worry, you were not alone. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will keep you updated", Team YouTube posted.

Nearly two hours after the planet experienced the terrifying outage, representatives for the video streaming service reassured us all that the natural order of the world has been restored.
