"We're aware of no evidence that she caused anybody any harm on that night", Jeff Kern, an attorney representing Cardi B told press outside the police precinct.

Because the charges are misdemeanours, she was eligible to be released on a desk appearance ticket, Lava said.

Cardi B has been arrested in connection with an alleged assault at a strip club.
