  • Olivia Newton-John, 69, reveals the tragic cancer diagnosis she kept secret

Olivia Newton-John revealed that she has been diagnosed with cancer for the third time in three decades.

The Grease icon says she is determined to beat the disease again. I'd be lying if I said I never go there.

Asked how she's coping, Olivia admitted: "I have my moments, but I'm not going to have my moment here!"

"And, you know, I was anxious about everything. But my husband's always there - he's always there to support me, and I believe I will win over it, and that's my goal". She beat the cancer, but discovered in 2013 a lump in her shoulder after a auto accident.

Newton-John called on Australia to adopt the laws of the USA state where she lives, California, and allow the medicinal use of marijuana.

Opening up about the diagnosis is something that the singer says that still leaves her uneasy.

Ex-Trump Campaign Adviser George Papadopoulos Sentenced to 14 Days In Prison
Breaking his silence for the first time since his guilty plea, Papadopoulos also doubled down on the claim that then-Sen. Trump is likely a reference to the cost of the Mueller probe. "A great day for America!" tweeted the President.

Newton-John said that her husband John Easterling had been growing the plant, something she said he could do legally in California, where the couple live. "Always when I sing it, I get a good, happy feeling and I get that positivity and keep on believing". After a minor auto accident in 2013 led to the discovery that the cancer had returned, she made a decision to not speak publicly about it.

In a secret she kept "from nearly everyone", Olivia Newton-John was diagnosed with cancer in her shoulder five years ago-more than 20 years after she was first diagnosed with breast cancer, CNN notes. I see as part of my mission.

She told CNN: "I love to sing, it's all I know how to do". She has cut sugar entirely out of her diet and uses cannabis plants that her husband grows to help with pain and getting to sleep. "It's hard to say - they help with pain", Newton-John noted.

I am one of millions in this journey.

"I feel so fortunate to have had the success I've had, and to do the wonderful things I do", she continued. I have an incredible career. "I have nothing, really, to complain about", Olivia adds.
