On Tuesday, the first day of body viewing, Aretha Franklin was dressed in Christian Louboutin 5-inch patent leather pumps that match a tea-length ruby red dress made of lace - with a full tulle skirt and chiffon overlay.

During a stop on her "Reputation" tour at Detroit's Ford Field, Swift took a moment to pay homage to Franklin in the city where the "Queen of Soul" reigned supreme.

They found Franklin in a polished bronze coffin and a sheer baby blue dress with matching shoes, a change from the bright red outfit seen on Tuesday across the world.

Franklin will lie in state at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. on both Tuesday, August 28 and Wednesday, August 29, the singer's publicist Gwendolyn Quinn confirmed.

Many others set up shop, selling memorabilia including T-shirts, pins, photos, and booklets with a CD of the 18-time Grammy champ's most prominent hits.

Then, on Friday, family and loved ones will gather for the private funeral at Greater Grace Temple, where Ariana Grande was just added to the list of performers. Chaka Khan, Jennifer Hudson and Stevie Wonder are among those scheduled to perform.

Arsenal record first competitive win under Emery
Neither side could carve out another clear-cut chance as the half went on, as they went into the halftime break level pegging. Arsenal finished well on top and Welbeck tapped in from Bellerin's pass with the Hammers defence in tatters.

Franklin died August 16, 2018 of pancreatic cancer at the age of 76.

Her signature song, "Respect" - recorded as a feminist anthem - became a rallying cry as African Americans rose up nationwide in the 1960s to fight peacefully for racial equality.

In her six decades as a music superstar, Franklin's public persona defined the term dive-her fur coats and entourages as recognizable as her voice.

Museum board member Kelly Major Green said the goal was to create a dignified and respectful environment akin to a church, the place where Franklin got her start. "I'm OK - I'm going to rest now, '" Mills said.

Tammy Gibson, 49, said: "I know people are sad, but it's just celebrating - people dancing and singing her music". "I sang with her, not often because she was on the road a lot, but I do say I have that privilege".
