Or rather, let Drake himself explain, through the lyrics of songs on his brand new album Scorpion, which dropped at midnight on June 29.

Scorpion follows Drake's best-selling 2016 album Views and his 2017 release More Life, which set a record across all music streaming services of 385 million streams in its first week of release.

Perhaps this is Drake's way of saying that he and JAY-Z are good despite the media spectacle surrounding a jab the rap icon took at him on The Carters new album, Everything Is Love. The 31-year-old is clearly battling some hard feelings, especially given the fact that the Toronto native is the son of divorced parents and, as per the song, didn't want the same for his own child.

But the rest is a snooze-filled tirade about lassoing "hoes" that, in a fantastical failure of male feminism, appropriates imagery from the pro-feminist, anti sex-shaming slut walk to make a point about Drake's sexual supremacy.

Many more uncredited vocalists can be heard on Scorpion's B Side, which already boasts features from Static Major, Ty Dolla $ign and a posthumous appearance from Michael Jackson.

Scorpion, the fifth studio album by the triple Grammy Award victor, also sees him resurrect the voice of the original King of Pop Micheal Jackson.

Ronaldo & Messi Have Never Won a World Cup
People say it was only Panama but you can only beat the team in front of you - it's not England's fault the opposition was weak. Portugal winger Gelson Martins and left-back Raphael Guerreiro are in contention to play after they returned to full training.

"From empty souls who just wake up and look to debate / until you staring at your seed, you can never relate", Drake raps. When Drake instead released a song, I was upset. Mariah Carey's "Emotions" gets sampled on Drake's "Emotionless".

Drake references his baby again on the track, "March 14", which closes the album and is his most honest meditation on fatherhood. However, Drake also reveals while he rushed out and bought a crib for his son, he has only met the boy once at Christmas time.

Michael Jackson vocals appear on the album, singing the chorus and outro on "Don't Matter To Me". "We've got a great record".

"Breaking news in my life I don't run to the blogs".

Scorpion is out now via Young Money/Cash Money Records. "Sandra's Rose", named after Drake's mother, finds him bragging, "Every title doin' numbers like I'm Miss Adele".
