As of now, out of nowhere, a new Android Package Kit (APK) report has revealed a new feature of Galaxy S9 called "Intelligent Scan", which is supposedly combining Face Unlock and Iris Scanner technology.

Samsung's upcoming beast, Galaxy S9 was earlier rumored to be featuring an improved iris scanner & face recognition sensor.

Weinbach has also uploaded a short video on YouTube (attached above), which though not in detail, gives a demo of this feature. We're not sure what kind of tech Samsung is using for the Intelligent Scan feature at this point in time.

The Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9+ will be incremental upgrades to the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+ at least as far as design is concerned. However, the S9 will have the same configurations as last generation, i.e. 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Besides motion-detected, "super slow-mo" video capture (rapid movement triggers 480fps recording at 720p), both devices are said to feature variable aperture on their primary 12-megapixel cameras.

Federer into 7th Aussie final as Chung retires
He added that retiring was the "right thing". 'For me, I was trying to block that away and just play Chung himself. After his win over Kyle Edmund in the semi-finals, Cilic said his game was not too dissimilar to Federer's .

Word on the street is that Samsung has plans to release a limited edition Galaxy S9+ with 6GB RAM and massive 512GB storage in select markets.

Samsung may be introducing a new technology to take on Apple's FaceID user authentication feature, but without introducing any new hardware. The fingerprint scanner was present alongside the camera lens at the back, on the Galaxy S8 devices. This sensor will be able to shoot between f/1.5 and f/2.4 with the former assisting in low light and the latter jumping in when lighting is ideal. Definitely an interesting proposition and based on their previous track record, Samsung is one of the best manufacturers to make a 1.5f aperture camera phone work.

Speculated to be the most expensive series ever, the smartphones are likely to be unveiled on February 25, a day prior to the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018) annual event, which runs until March 1.
