Monday is a good news and bad news situation.

The agency has issued a wind chill advisory and a winter weather advisory.

The weather service said forecast models are trending drier and have relegated possible ice impacts to a smaller area of northeast Alabama than previously forecast.

A wind chill advisory is in effect for western Dutchess County and a wind chill warning is in effect for eastern Dutchess until 7 a.m. Sunday. The wind chill advisory - wind chills are expected to range from 5 degrees below zero to 20 degrees below zero Friday - expires Saturday at noon. The high for Saturday is 26 with wind chills as low as -1 at night.
