Tuesdays at the Christian Study Prayer Room on Chancellor Street and at 6 p.m. We celebrate the fourth Sunday of Advent at 10:30 a.m. The church will host holy union services at 7:30 p.m. December 30 with Pastor Chester Beamon and Paul Chapel Holiness Church and at 11 a.m. December 31. For those looking for a church service to attend, area churches will be offering a variety of services on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church, 1042 Temple Terrace, will hold Christmas Eve masses at 4:30, 6:30, 8:30 (in Spanish) and 10:30 p.m. Christmas Day masses are set for 8 and 10 a.m.

Concordia Lutheran Church, 1431 Sixth St., will host the Rev. Dr. Timothy Puls, professor at Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana, to teach the 9 a.m. adult Bible class Sunday, where he will focus on the miraculous birth events in the Bible.

Crescent Park Baptist Church, 3002 E. University Blvd., has scheduled a Christmas Eve candlelight service and presentation of "Five Carols for the Eve of Christ" at 5 p.m. Sunday. Both are open to the community 24/7.

Ardmore Moravian Church, 2013 W. Academy St. will hold a casual service of carol singing at 10 a.m. Sunday in the fellowship hall. This service features Christ Church Brass Ensemble, Cathedral Handbell Choir, Sanctuary Choir, Organist Steve Brown, and congregational carols by candlelight.

■ St. Matthew True Born Faith of Christ Church, 601 Norris St., will have a worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday. The annual Jubilee Week services will be held at 7:30 p.m. January 1-5.

Immanuel Baptist Church Christmas Eve Lord's Supper/Candlelight Service will be at 5 p.m. Sunday. Contemporary musical group, Joyful Noise will perform at the 11 p.m. service. Family Christmas Eve Mass will be held at 5:30 p.m., and a midnight Mass with loft music begins at 11:30 p.m. Christmas Day Mass begins at 10 a.m.

Walnut St., Farmville, will host a morning prayer at 11 a.m. Sunday. The 10 p.m. service will include the anthem "Would I Miss the Miracle".

" Lodge at Old Trail Ecumenical Congregation (Crozet) holds a Christmas Eve Communion service at 2:30 p.m. Sunday".

It will be a very special time of worship and celebration.

Orchards Community Church will hold its candlelight services at 3 and 5 p.m. Sunday at the church, 822 Bryden Ave., Lewiston. Christmas Day services will be held at 9 a.m. Monday.

Christmas Eve Services, 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 7336 Timberlake Road.
