  • Valve's Portal Series Returns in Bridge Constructor Portal

Bridge Constructor Portal is also coming to the consoles, but it won't jump through a tear in the fabric of space on those platforms until 2018. And, yes, Portal's evil AI GLaDOS is in Bridge Constructor Portal and back to delivering her/its signature acerbic but monotone observations of player-characters. And much to everyone's disappointment, it's not Portal 3.

As the name implies, Bridge Constructor Portal is the next entry in the popular Bridge Constructor series, with Portal-inspired visuals and mechanics.

If you're wondering how all of this will work, ClockStone and Headup launched a trailer that you can watch at the top of this story. You'll build bridges across Aperture Science-like testing areas, utilizing seemingly every element from the Portal universe from Companion Cubes to the orange and blue goo from Portal 2.

For the previous year we've been working in our underground labs on the next iteration of the million-selling Bridge Constructor series.

Here's How Facebook Plans To Develop Products For Your Kids
The CEO of the nonprofit Family Online Safety Institute, Stephen Balkam, stated: "that train has left the station". Facebook is including "kid-appropriate masks, frames, stickers, and GIFs [to] spark conversation and laughter".

Bridge Constructor Portal will be a completely standalone title and "fully embraces" the Portal license, with all manner of fiendish conundrums and an "exciting new game experience".

Like, what's even going on in those screens?

Backing up a bit, if you've never played a Portal game before, I implore you to fix that problem. In it, players construct spans and supports to allow traffic to flow from one part of the level to another. And in the upcoming Bridge Constructor Portal, due out December 20 on Steam and mobile devices, you'll get the chance to use the space-time-bending tool from Valve's Portal games to help vehicles go from point A to point B.
