  • Sources tell THR that the director failed to return to set after the Thanksgiving holiday break

Rami Malek, who stars as the Queen frontman, complained to the studio about Singer's "unreliability and unprofessionalism", according to the Hollywood Reporter. The studio - in a statement to the publication - said he is "no longer the director" of the film.

"While, at times, we did have creative differences on set, Rami and I successfully put those differences behind us and continued to work on the film together until just prior to Thanksgiving", Singer said.

In a non-physical altercation with Malek, Singer reportedly threw an object.

At the time, Singer's camp said that he was dealing with an sudden health issue, while producers Fox, New Regency and Graham King said that the production suspension was due to Singer's "unexpected unavailability".

"'Bohemian Rhapsody' is a passion project of mine", Singer said via his attorney Andrew B. Brettler.

Google Sends 60-Day Warning To App Developers, Brands
This covers anything from location data to crash reports, which often include a list of apps the user has installed. On its blog post, Google said, "These requirements apply to apps in Google Play and non-Play app markets".

Per T.H.R., Singer was "absent during production on several occasions", and did not return to the set after Thanksgiving break.

Additionally, Tom Hollander (About Time, In The Loop), who plays Queen's manager in the movie, quit the production for a short time, also in relation to Singer's on-set behaviour. Rami Malek of Mr. Robot fame was cast as Freddie Mercury in the film and from one production still certainly passes for a dead ringer of the singer. In some instances, the movie's cinematographer, Thomas Newton Sigel, had to take the directing reins in Singer's absence.

Despite the production for the Queen biopic put on ice and in a state of uncertainty, "Bohemian Rhapsody" is still slated to hit the theaters on its original release date of December 25, 2018.

There is now no word who would replace Singer to finish the film. But when Singer did not return to set after the Thanksgiving break and instead stayed in the USA, the studio chose to jettison him from the project.

The studio are yet to respond to Singer's latest claims, but are reportedly looking to find a new director in the coming days. The outlet says an insider claims Singer is "suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder because of the tensions on the set". This was the case for his films "X-Men: Apocalypse" and "Superman Returns".
