"Yes, they (LeT) are involved in Kashmir but in Kashmir, it is between us and India", he said.

According to various sources, Pervez Musharraf said that Lashkar-e-Taiba are the strongest forces. Saeed is accused of having masterminded the November 2008 Mumbai attack that killed 166 people.

The Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) founder and banned Jamaat-ud-Dawah (JuD) head, who carries a Dollars 10 million American bounty on his head for terror activities, walked free on Friday after the Pakistan government decided against detaining him further in any other case.

The White House Press Secretary in a statement on Saturday said, "If Pakistan does not take action to lawfully detain Saeed and charge him for his crimes, its inaction will have repercussions for bilateral relations and for Pakistan's global reputation". They (LeT) are the biggest force, India got them declared as terrorists by partnering with United States, " he added. He also said that he was always in favour of "action" in Jammu and Kashmir and "suppressing Indian Army in Kashmir". The organisation that is exclusively responsible for banned Lashkar-e-Taiba is The Jammat-ud-Dawa that was responsible for carrying out the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008. Washington had also announced a bounty of $10 million for the banned JuD leader.

The LeT was banned by Pakistan in 2002 and it was, in fact, the Musharraf government that banned the outfit. His organisation JuD has already been declared as a foreign terrorist organisation by the United States in June 2014.

Meredith to buy Time Inc. for upward of $2.8 billion
The deal is a coup for Meredith , which held unsuccessful talks to buy Time earlier this year and in 2013. Meredith will pay $18.50 per share in cash for Time's almost 100 million outstanding shares.

The timing of this remark is significant, as it comes days after Saeed was released from house arrest by a Pakistani court.

Previously, Saeed said Kashmiri commander Abdul Majid was martyred by using illegal weapons.

When the Lashkar and JuD chief was just 90 days into his 10-month detainment, Musharraf had asked then Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to free him and claimed that his JuD was a "very fine NGO" that is engaged in relief work.

Pervez Musharraf is facing court cases after he returned from five years of self-exile in Dubai to contest the general elections in 2013, which he lost.
