Kelly, the 17th head coach in the school's history, is expected to be introduced to the public at UCLA on Monday.

UCLA students and football fans are reacting with excitement and anticipation at the hiring of Chip Kelly as the Bruins' new head football coach. His high-powered and high-paced offense helped lead the Ducks to a 46-7 record and multiple bowls in 4 years. The Ducks finished that season ranked second by the Associated Press.

He won 12 games in each of his last three years with OR and went 10-3 in his first season with the school in 2009. Mora took the Bruins to the Pac-12 championship game in 2012 and Bowl games in his first four seasons, but they've struggled over the last three campaigns, going 18-19 since 2015.

The jury remains out on whether Kelly can overtake USC and aid in UCLA becoming a top-tier program in Los Angeles but, if he can't do it, there is every reason to believe that most could not.

Christmas trees to see price hike due to shortage
For many in the US, Black Friday isn't just a day to score shopping deals; it's also the official start to the Christmas season. Activity includes "spraying for bugs in March, mowing in June, trimming with a machete in July when it's 110 degrees", he said.

Kelly, who posted a 28-35 combined record in three seasons coaching the Philadelphia Eagles and one with the San Francisco 49ers, also had been under consideration for the college job at Florida.

UCLA plays its final regular-season game Friday against California.

The UCLA job is open after Jim Mora was sacked after a 23-23 loss to USC last weekend.
