After receiving an MRI, John Wall is expected to miss two weeks of the 2017-18 National Basketball Association season after undergoing treatment on his sore left knee. Wall is a player who utilizes blazing speed with his dribbling, crossover and scoring so a knee injury is definitely something the team wants to take care of. According to the team, Wall suffered a "knee-to-knee contact" injury vs. the Mavericks way back on November 7th.

Early Saturday, the Washington Wizards announced that John Wall underwent an MRI exam on his injured left knee.

The 6-foot-4, 210-pound Wall is averaging 20.3 points and 3.4 rebounds in 16 games this season. He leads the Wizards and is third in the National Basketball Association with 9.2 assists per game.

John Wall is on the shelf for the Washington Wizards for at least a fortnight. Obviously, the knee injury has impacted his performance. He has 42 career starts, including two this season and 35 with the Pelicans during the 2016-17 campaign. They entered the season with expectations of contending in the East, but at 10-8 they've struggled to separate themselves from the rest of the playoff contenders.
