About LaVar Ball vs Donald Trump

  • Mark Cuban What La Var Ball is doing is ‘straight out of the Donald Trump playbook

LOS ANGELES - LaVar Ball downplayed his son's shoplifting incident in China as well as us president Donald Trump's involvement in getting his son and two other UCLA players back to the United States earlier this week.

"I can assure you even the people that dislike President Trump the most would agree that LaVar Ball is wrong in this situation".

"I say thank you when I see something", LaVar Ball later added. I wouldn't have thanked the motherfucker either.

Well, LaVar appeared on CNN last night and proceeded to return fire at the celebrity-in-chief. "I need to go over and get them.' That wasn't the thought process", he said. Now, he is the person who stood up to Trump, refused to grovel to Trump and exposed in the words of Shaun King at The Intercept that "Few things irritate white men, particularly white men whose power is centered in their whiteness, than a fully free Black man who doesn't kiss their ass on demand".

During a press conference in which all three UCLA players apologized for their actions in China, they also offered up their thanks to Trump.

LaVar's son, LiAngelo Ball, recently escaped jail time following a shoplifting arrest in China, which Trump says is all thanks to him.

Lawmaker, attorney for woman with F-Trump sticker to discuss case
All of the undue attention her sticker attracted allowed local law enforcement to find out she had outstanding warrants for fraud. Karen Fonseca , 46, left the Fort Bend County jail late Thursday after being arrested earlier in the day on a fraud charge.

Needless to say, Trump took to Twitter to respond to LaVar's comments, stating that he should have just left the kids in jail in China. With still about a month to go in 2017, the inevitable Donald Trump vs. LaVar Ball feud that we all knew was going to happen has happened. When asked about it, Trump said that President Xi had been "terrific" with regards to his request. "I did hear three "President Trumps" and three 'American government.' Now they get back on American soil, he [LaVar Ball] wants to pound his chest".

At one point, Mr Ball seemed to suggest that he had personally played a role in his son's release.

If he was going to thank anyone, he would "probably" thank Jinping.

The late-night host also argued that the tweet is telling of the dictatorship Trump yearns to have. "I'm just saying I had some things done, I had some people who did some other things".

Ball's son LiAngelo was arrested in China in November 8 for stealing designer sunglasses in Shanghai, along with his two teammates Jalen Hill and Cody Riley.

Clearly, Ball thinks Trump did nothing special.
