  • Bills vs. Chargers: Top matchups to watch in NFL Week 11

The quarterback controversy of this past week was Bills coach Sean McDermott getting an itchy trigger finger and benching an underwhelming-if-not-terrible Tyrod Taylor.

Peterman struggled in the opening quarter of his first National Football League start, throwing three interceptions - one of which was the result of a drop by fullback Patrick DiMarco. Los Angeles set a franchise record for points in a first half during the Bills' worst defensive half since 1977, and the Chargers posted a resounding win for coach Anthony Lynn, who finished last season as Bills interim coach. For the season, Ingram has 8.5 sacks, 35 tackles and a forced fumble to go with Sunday's fumble recovery and touchdown.

In fairness to Peterman, the first interception he threw was more on his receiver, with a tipped pass being picked off by Chargers linebacker Korey Toomer for a touchdown.

Taylor hit LeSean McCoy with a 12-yard TD pass on fourth down in the fourth quarter.

Two of his touchdowns came against Georgia in a 45-42 victory, including a 68-yard fake-punt for a touchdown.

Los Angeles continued to struggle to find their way in the endzone, as they settled for a Nick Novak 34-yard field goal that gave them the 10-7 lead.

The Chargers answered with a field goal before Peterman threw his third interception of teh opening quarter. On the next drive Peterman threw another interception under pressure to Casey Hayward who returned the ball for seven yards. Meanwhile the Bills are tied for third fewest in the league, with just six total points on opening possessions. Buffalo had to settle for a Stephen Hauschka field goal, as they trailed 40-10 in the third quarter. As a result, Matthews then spent the first three seasons of his professional tenure in the "City of Brotherly Love".
