  • Hazardous weather, gusty winds, chance of snow expected in St. Lawrence County this weekend

A High Wind Warning is in effect for Long Island, with gusts of winds from 55-60 miles per hour.

Timing... Strongest winds will occur between midnight and 8am tonight into Sunday morning. "Mountain snow showers will likely put down a fresh 1-3" of new snow across the northern mountains of NY and Vermont.

During the morning, winds will be strong out of the south, keeping our temperatures mild.

As a cold front moves in Saturday afternoon, a line of strong storms sweeps across the region.

Cold air is firmly in place on Sunday keeping our highs in the 30s.

S.Africa eye 2023 prize as bitter battle ends
Mark Alexander, President of SA Rugby, stated the South Africa had accepted the result despite the disappointment. Some of Ireland's near neighbours are even said to have overlooked the Irish bid as the French swept home.

Heading into Monday, while mostly sunny (outside a few mountain show showers) temperatures remain cold. Winds may gust as high as 31 miles per hour.

Sunday night: Mostly clear, low around 28.

Sunday afternoon temperatures continue to fall into the 30s, under a persistent northwest wind at 15-25mph, gusts occasionally reach 30+ miles per hour. As we start off the shortened work week for most as we get closer and closer to the Thanksgiving holiday, Monday will likely be the coolest day with highs near 40 under plenty of sunshine. That means it will be very warm during the day with highs topping out in the low 80s!

By this evening temperatures will be in the lower 40s, feeling like the 30s due to the winds. Breezy, with a southwest wind 21 to 23 miles per hour becoming westerly in the afternoon. Precipitation: On and off rain and snow showers. That brings us to the busiest travel day of the year on Wednesday, and a possible small bump along our otherwise nice weather road. Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. After that, it'll be partly sunny, with a high near 50.
