  • PHOENIX AZ – NOVEMBER 13 – Lakers

First a dunk on an assist from Lonzo Ball, then a hook shot, a floater and a three-pointer. The Lakers fell to 6-10 while the Suns improved to 6-11.

Rookie forward Kyle Kuzma scored 28 of his career-high 30 points in the second half for the Lakers, who committed 20 turnovers while losing for the fifth time in six games.

Ball's teammates ended up in a skirmish along the sideline near midcourt in a game against the Suns.

Lakers coach Luke Walton surmised earlier this week that Ball has been impacted by the arrest of his younger brother LiAngelo and two teammates for shoplifting earlier this month during a trip to China with the UCLA hoops team.

As with most things Ball does, it created a bit of a stir on NBA Twitter.

Bills coach names Peterman staring QB
Head coach Sean McDermott did not say what his status would be for the game. "At the end of the day, we still have the same goal". Buffalo traded starting receiver Sammy Watkins and starting cornerback Ronald Darby in separate deals on the same day in August.

Phoenix Suns guard Tyler Ulis, left, deflects a pass intended for Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball during the first half of an NBA basketball game, Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, in Los Angeles. "We beat them twice, so we thought it was going to be easier, I guess".

Booker scored 36 points in the Suns' home loss to the Lakers on Monday, and he kept up his history of torrid performances against LA. While Devin Booker is an awesome talent, there isn't much else around him right now.

The Lakers have dropped five of six games since opening the season 5-5, and they rank last in the National Basketball Association in both turnovers and three-point shooting. "Seems like some of our guys really stepped up and made tough shots when they had to, or got to the free throw line". Kuzma also notched a double-double with 10 rebounds.

Looking at the betting trends, the Nuggets are 1-5 ATS in their last six road games, 7-3 ATS in their last 10 Sunday games and 0-4 ATS in their last four games following a win of more than 10 points. That came a day after a 142-116 loss to Houston in which the Suns gave up 90 points in the first half, tied for the second-most points given up in one half in National Basketball Association history.
