Reputation marks Taylor Swift's first studio album in three years.

The 27-year-old superstar released her sixth studio album on Friday (10 November) after months away from the limelight following her high-profile break-ups with Calvin Harris and Tom Hiddleston, and A-list feuds with Kanye West, Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry.

This newscaster's reputation certainly won't suffer after getting approval from Taylor Swift herself. The highlight tracks on the album are "Getaway Car" and "Gorgeous".

With "Call It What You Want", Swift ditched the choreography and sat down with her guitar.

Who's that lady. Jodie Whittaker's Doctor costume revealed
In Doctor Who , the rules of regeneration dictate that only the Time Lord's body changes, and not the outfit. Our introduction to the new Doctor on Doctor Who usually comes in threes, though the order may vary a bit.

In the end Swift chose to go with "Ready For It?" for her opening song, the sensible choice given that this is her current single and she recently released a music video for it. Hopefully we get to see her perform more of her songs from Reputation soon.

"Absence only makes the heart grow fonder, though, and Swift crushed her performance last night. The pop star fully embraced her "New Taylor" persona, wearing an edgy all-black outfit, complete with shorts, a crop top, and a snake-adorned microphone as she sang ".Ready for It?".

USA Today's Maeve McDermott said the album was a "fully formed look at a singer in love, and in control", while Jon Caramanica at the New York Times called it "bombastic, unexpected and sneakily potent".
