NOT everyone gets to meet their heroes, but Kate Winslet got to do rather more with hers after name-checking Allison Janney at the Hollywood Film Awards. The two shared a kiss during Winslet's acceptance speech for the Hollywood Actress Award, where she shared her adoration of the Emmy winning comedienne with the audience.

"Allison Janney is in this room", a very honest Winslet told the audience.

Amid laughter from the audience, Winslet told Janney, "I want to stroke you, or something".

Kate couldn't keep the smile from her face as she celebrated her win with an amorous outburst. "We could always kiss or something... maybe".

Facebook Reports $10.3 Billion in Revenues
Unlike Twitter's anything-goes attitude, Facebook is famously strict about verifying the real-life identity of each of its users. As of September 30, the headcount at Facebook was 23,165 - an increase of 47 per cent year-over-year.

As she continued, Allison got up from her seat and headed for the stage and that resulted in Kate saying, "Ah, it's gonna happen!" "Now I'm a little bit breathless".

We are, too. And we can't blame Winslet for seizing the moment.

Hosted by James Corden, the night's other big winners included Mary J Blige, who took home the Hollywood breakout performance award for her movie Mudbound, Stronger's Jake Gyllenhaal won the best actor, Joe Wright earned the best director trophy for Darkest Hour and the comedy award went to Adam Sandler for The Meyerowitz Stories. "Allison, I know I don't really know you but I know I just want to be you", she said.

The moment surprised the crowd at the glitzy gala, which was held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills.
