Brazile's memoir, Hacks: The Inside Story of the Break-ins and Breakdowns That Put Donald Trump in the White House, will be published Tuesday by Hachette Books.

Then-Democratic National Committee head Donna Brazile considered replacing Hillary Clinton at the top of the party's ticket previous year after the presidential nominee appeared unsteady and stumbled following a September 11 memorial service in New York, Brazile writes in her new book.

Clinton fainted while attending an outdoor ceremony in New York City marking the 15th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

After Fox News and CNN aired segments about Brazile's DNC rigging claims and the president tweeted about the subject, CBS and NBC published stories on their websites Friday afternoon about the matter.

Brazile, a longtime Clinton friend and ally, was stunned by what happened after the Ground Zero event and the "shameful" fact that she and everyone else had been kept in the dark about the candidate's health.

The Post review was published two days after Brazile published excerpts of the book in Politico that including bombshell revelations about her taking over the DNC in the summer of 2016 with roughly $2 million in debt.

The fundraising agreement, signed in August 2015 during the primary process, was unusual for an open seat and, according to Brazile, gave the Clinton campaign oversight of some DNC decisions.

Brazile claims she wanted to replace Clinton and her running mate Sen. Tim Kaine of Virginia, with Biden and Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., would be the strongest combination to beat Donald Trump in November.

"By September 7, the day I called Bernie, I had found my proof and it broke my heart", she wrote. "I could not do this to them", she writes.

Sanders (I-Vt.). It centers on a fundraising agreement that Clinton's campaign signed with the DNC that essentially kept the committee afloat and allowed her aides to control the party.

But she thought better of the 11th-hour overhaul of the Democratic Party.

The review also details Brazile's reported wide-ranging takedown of the Clinton campaign over such matters as perceived "inevitability" and a focus on analytics over truly understanding voters.

"Do you agree with the notion that it was rigged?" The email was released by WikiLeaks. However, she nevertheless apologized.
