  • Harvey Weinstein accused of raping Italian actress in LA hotel room in 2013

On October 10, she held a similar presser for Louisette Geiss, who recounted an incident with Weinstein at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.

"I arrived and a person who appeared to be a secretary was leaving".

"He said that if he was going to introduce me around town to directors and producers he needed to know if I was any good. It was unsettling", Kerr said. She had met Weinstein once very briefly in Rome.

"He had this sly, sleazy smile on his face". Because he was sitting so close on this couch I started to get a sick feeling in my stomach.

"The next thing I knew, he had unzipped his fly and pulled out his penis", the woman now living in Washington said.

"He told me this is how things work in Hollywood and all of the actresses that have made it have made it this way", Heather Kerr said between tears at a press conference alongside lawyer Gloria Allred on Friday. "I was frozen with fear, trying to remain calm".

She later attended a staged reading of his show Finding Neverland with two of her male friends, and then a screening of W.E. on her own.

It's standard practice in the business to accommodate men like Trump or Harvey Weinstein, due to their fame and ability to make money, a Hollywood executive who insisted on anonymity because of non-disclosure agreements told HuffPost.

She fled the room as quickly and as gracefully as possible; three days later, she quit her job with an entertainment business manager and gave up pursuing an acting career. I told him not to do that and informed him that it would make me extremely uncomfortable. "I felt so powerless", she tearfully recalled. "It's not a tremendous percentage but I think we were at 3% in 2013 and we're up to 5, 6 or 7% now". "I hope we can form a community where a woman can speak up about abuse and not suffer another abuse by not being believed and instead being ridiculed".

"Well, no more. That may be the way it was".

"Harvey, you and others like you are done".

The reaction to these stories spurred actress Alyssa Milano to ask women who had been sexually assaulted or harassed to share their stories on social media, using the phrase "me too".

Heather Kerr, now 56, who appeared on 1980s USA sitcom The Facts of Life, claims Weinstein attacked her during a private meeting when she was an aspiring actress in her 20s. The experience led her to leave the industry, and she now works in real estate, she told reporters.

Nyong'o described her encounters with Weinstein in an op-ed piece published by The New York Times on Thursday, including a 2011 incident in which she said the producer offered her a massage at his CT home.

Ring confirmed his client told investigators that Weinstein "bullied" his way into her Los Angeles hotel room in 2013 and that she was the victim of "sexual assault and rape".

The alleged victim was an unnamed Italian model-actress who said Weinstein "forcibly raped" her at the Mr. C Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles after the 8th annual Los Angeles, Italia Film, Fashion and Art Fest in February of 2013, according to the Los Angeles Times.

"Her greatest regret is opening that door", Ring said.

Allred said Friday she has been contacted by several other accusers. "The case is under investigation".
