  • 'Humans of New York' Docuseries Coming to Facebook (Exclusive)

I'm sure by now everyone reading this is familiar with the work of photographer and interviewer Brandon Stanton and his long-running project Humans of NY. "People really open themselves up in a way that continues to surprise me". Of course, it is no other than "Humans of NY".

For the new docuseries, Stanton will return to the streets of NY, where the blog began.

"Early on I realized that video would add a deeper layer to Humans of NY".

The first real original content for the service has also been revealed in the form of a 12-part documentary from photographer Brandon Stanton, the man behind the massively popular Humans of New York Facebook page, and executive produced by Oscar-nominated documentary maker Julie Goldman. A specific date wasn't provided, though new episodes will be released weekly. And I always do my best to recreate the experience through photos and words.

In the seven years since its creation, the page has garnered over 18-million followers - two-thirds of which is from outside the United States. "But I always knew that video would provide the closest thing to 'actually being there'". Stanton has released two New York Times bestselling books based on the venture - but now he's refocusing on digital for the series.

Wallabies coach Michael Cheika: Nobody expects us to win
Fast forward 12 months and the Wallabies are in almost the exact same position - and Read anticipates deja vu in Dunedin tomorrow. Read said that was a mistake they wouldn't want to be making on Saturday in Dunedin . "People would be justified to think that".

"So for the last four years, I've filmed 1,200 interviews on the streets of NY", he added.

The social network has ordered a 12-episode docuseries from Brandon Stanton, the man behind the popular photo blog Humans of NY.

The series will remain faithful to the straightforward transcripts Brandon runs on Facebook by simply featuring raw clips of New Yorkers giving their stories.

"Instead of posting these videos one day at a time, I held onto them so that one day I could combine them into something special", Stanton wrote in a Facebook post that included a trailer for the show.
